Yes. Everyday records, saved documents, and checklists work on your device. Purchases, restoring subscriptions, and downloading files from another provider may need an internet connection.
No. You can use Boat Records without creating a user account. Optional Pro purchases are managed through your Apple account.
Keep an exported backup before changing devices. JSON contains structured records; keep original documents separately or use a Pro document package. There is no automatic sync between devices.
Everyday records, documents, search, JSON and CSV exports are free. Pro adds PDF dossier and document package exports. Your local subscription price is shown in the app.
